Simultaneously, construction has begun on the first residence in the Vest Stellar Chalet Collection. The inaugural build will set the tone for the collection: discreetly luxurious, meticulously crafted, and deeply connected to its setting. As the structure takes shape on the hillside, it embodies a new way of living in the Alps — one that is as much about belonging as it is about architecture.

As the season turns, we’re grateful to adventure the trails between Lauchernalp and Telialp as they open once again — winding paths that connect us not just to place, but to memory, rhythm, and renewal. These trails are more than routes through the mountains; they are part of the valley’s quiet soul.

First Swiss to Cross the North Channel

Toni Enderli became the first Swiss to conquer the North Channel, swimming the 35 km stretch between Northern Ireland and Scotland in about 14 ½ hours in 13 °C water—wearing only a swimsuit and cap and following strict open-water rules.
